the verdicts are in favor of the plaintiffs due to the fact that
they have developed the rare cancer mesothelioma. Many of
those affected included children who were exposed to asbestos
and developed mesothelioma later in life. These verdicts

case and the verdict was for the plaintiff who suffered from
mesothelioma due to occupational asbestosis exposure.
William Hardcastle and Vonda
Hardcastle v. J-M A/C Pipe Corporation (2001). This
case is about a plaintiff exposed to asbestos due to his work at
a pipe manufacturing plant. Experts testified saying that
the company's health protection standards for the employees was
"negligent."
