reason bextra was developed was to help alleviate pain suffered
from arthritis.
However,
studies have shown that the side effects may be too high a risk
to pay for the benefits that the drug provides.
Side
effects include increased chances of stroke and
heart attack, especially for to patients who have had coronary bypass surgery. Not
only that, this drug has been correlated to Stevens Johnson
Syndrome, a skin condition that can lead to death.
