merck ceoxx includes the name of the pharmaceutical company and the brand name of the pain and arthritis drug that was recalled voluntarily by the company on September 30, 2004.

Outside of the United States, the drug Vioxx is known as Ceoxx. Both medications are a drug named Rofecoxib and have the same deadly side effects including heart attacks and stroke. These findings were a result of a three-year study of patients who had healthy hearts and how their risk for heart disease increased with the use of Vioxx/Ceoxx.
